 Devin's Bio

Devin Schmidt is one of the most recognized and in demand teaching professionals in the Pacific Northwest. In 2022 alone he has hosted over 75 clinics, challenge courses, charity events, leagues, and tournaments throughout the country. Devin lives in Edmonds, WA and is currently the Head Pro at the highly acclaimed Harbor Square Athletic Club.

He is the founder of The Premier Pickleball Academy, the first ever pickleball academy in Washington State.

He has been teaching and playing advanced pickleball for 5 years. Devin has taught on the court with some of the biggest names in pickleball including Tyson McGuffin, Kyle Mckenzie, Susannah Barr, John Sperling, Andrei Daescu and more.

When Devin is not teaching in the PNW he is a regular guest pro for the Tyson McGuffin Signature Camps.

Devin has been featured nationally in Fox Business and various local news sources.

As an avid player he travels all over the nation to tournaments to compete in the 5.0 and pro levels. In 2022 he took home 4 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze in the 5.0 division. He has earned gold medals at both PPA and APP tournaments.

Pickleball is his passion and he can't wait to share his knowledge with his students.

Housing is not included in the camp pricing.  Call the Lighthouse Resort 360-642-3622 and book your room as soon as you sign up!  Ask about our three bedroom suite it is a great value for a small group up to 6 people.  It is a requirement that you stay at the resort to get this fabulous pricing and experience. **those of you checking in Sunday will have access to the courts from 5 - 7 to play and drill prior to the camp starting.
